First time ever DNA of a human embryos sucessfully Edited in U.S.

For the first time ever, American scientists have successfully edited the DNA of a human embryo — in the attempt to correct genes that cause inherited diseases, a report says.we discuss full report read the full story,

    Scientists in Portland, Oregon have successfully created the first genetically modified human embryo. Led by Shoukhrat Mitalipov of the Oregon Health and Science University, the team has reportedly-

 "broken new ground for both in the number of embryos experimented upon and by demonstrating that it is possible to safely and efficiently correct defective genes that cause inherited diseases."

          The team made use of the CRISPR gene-editing technology which enables scientists to edit the DNA of living organisms. The technology will be used to edit human genes linked to cystic fibrosis and other fatal hereditary conditions.

            Up until now, China was the only known country to carry out the practice. But they only managed to make their desired DNA changes on a small number of cells, creating an effect known as “mosaicism.”      Mitalipov’s team, however, was able to prevent this from happening.

“They significantly reduced mosaicism,” explained one researcher, who chose to remain anonymous.The milestone means scientists in the US are officially one step closer to engineering the first genetically modified human beings on earth.“It is proof of principle that it can work,” the researcher said. “I don’t think it’s the start of clinical trials yet, but it does take it further than anyone has before.”

Lenovo k8 Note set to be launch on aug 9

july 29: On Friday Finally Lenovo announce the launch date for K8 Note smartphone via its social media channels which will be August 9. The post also teases the number 8, which suggests that the smartphone will be the Lenovo K8 Note, and not K7 Note as was previously expected.

The official launch date confirmation comes after a series of mathematical-based quizzes Lenevo India posted on its social media account, asking followers to guess what the next 'Note' smartphone will be called, all pointing to the number 8.

Interestingly, lenevo confirmation points to what could be the K8 Note, which is a little surprising considering it would mean the company is planning to skip on the K7 Note. OnePlus in the past also did something similar by launching the OnePlus after the OnePlus3T  for different reason. Samsung  did something similar last year, with the Galaxy Note7- skipping the Galaxy Note 6 in an attempt to bring the Galaxy Note brand up to speed with its Galaxy S brand.

Xiaomi launch ed the latest version MIUI 9 downloaded from 27 july

Finally Xiaomi has officially launched the latest version of its custom user interface, MIUI 9, at a media event in Beijing. Based on Android Nougat 7.0, MIUI 9 comes with new features and several improvements over its predecessor. here we discuss the major update in new version.

Key new features added to MIUI 9 include 3 parts.

1.Smart assistant- Much like Google Assistant, Siri and Bixby, MIUI 9 has its own smart assistant to help the user look up anything from pictures to text.  

  2. Smart app launcher- Depending on the contents of the screen, this feature launches apps which it thinks would be beneficial for the user. For example, if the user is talking about going somewhere, it can open maps to help the user find the location.

3.Image search- This feature allows users to search for images using context based keywords. Using machine learning, the feature is able to pull up search results depending on the content of the images.Other than the previously mentioned features, MIUI 9 also comes with a split-screen mode, better app-prioritization and an enhanced user experience.

The Chinese version of MIUI 9 will be available for download from 27th July. Xiaomi is yet to reveal any information about the release date for the global ROM.

Google anti-malware play protect feature can easily check by using few step to follow to all android user

21 july: Malicious apps have emerged as a major source of malware attacks on smart phones, and many users unknowingly become a victim by downloading them. To combat the risk, Google has started the roll out of its 'Google Play Protect' feature that detects suspicious app behavior and potential security threats.

The new feature scans the Android device and alerts the users of suspicious app behavior and whether an app poses a potential security threat. The description on Android's official site reads "Google Play Protect continuously works to keep your device, data and apps safe. Your device is automatically scanned around the clock to give you peace of mind."        

However, it should be noted that the feature has been designed to work in case of Google Play Store and not for third party app download websites.
