21 july: Xiaomi's Marketing Director, Zang Zhiyuan, has shared images of the upcoming Mi 5X smartphone which is slated for an official launch next week.
The images reveal a smartphone which takes design cues from the Oppo R11 and the OnePlus 5. From the images we can tell that the smartphone has a metal unibody design, a curved glass screen, dual-lens rear camera setup, and a rear mounted fingerprint sensor.
Rumors suggest that the Mi 5X will pack a 5.5-inch full HD display and will be powered by a Snapdragon 625 backed by 4GB RAM. The smartphone will be released in three color variants including Black, Gold and Rose Gold and will be priced at 1,999 yuan ( approx. Rs. 19,000).
